Full service kitchen design and remodeling
Location: Central Phoenix
Our clients purchased this 1979 ranch home knowing that it was going to need a major remodel. We spent 10 weeks bringing this home into the 21st century. Of course the age of this home presented its own set of challenges, one of which being the closed off feel in the kitchen and living room. We provided a very large cutout in the wall dividing the kitchen and living room. This created the welcoming open concept that our client was after.
In the kitchen, we used an espresso colored shaker style cabinet. In a few of the uppers, we added frosted glass to break things up. In the island, we added a bookcase for storage of cookbooks, and used a waterfall edge to tie in the modern feel. For the backsplash, our client selected a fun glass subway tile. This added a small pop of color without it being too overwhelming. Opposite to the kitchen, we added a large desk area that our client requested.
We modernized the bathrooms by using wood-looking flat panel vanites. We kept the showers neutral by using a simple tile with a small accent strip. The niche in the master shower is the perfect place to store all your shower products.
The home now fits into its surroundings in its up and coming central phoenix neighborhood. With the new modern style that our client loves, they're sure to love it for years to come!
