Our homeowners decided to remodel their 1985 ranch home to bring it up to today’s updated feeling without losing the character of the neighborhood.
The first major improvement was updating all the flooring. We removed all the existing flooring and installed new engineered hard wood flooring throughout and travertine tile in the bathrooms and laundry.
In order to get the kitchen looking new and fresh we removed the low ceilings and raised it up to accommodate taller cabinets and some custom wood beams. The entire kitchen got a complete remodel and redesign. The use of warm white cabinets and a creamy white granite gives this kitchen a classic look that will stay relevant for years to come.
The bathrooms really needed our help as much as the kitchen did. The master had an original 1985 sunken garden tub which we filled in and added a claw foot soaking tub in its place. Both bathrooms got fresh warm alder cabinets and natural travertine tile. We added some fun pops of color to the accent tiles in each bathroom.
One other key feature on this project was the fireplace in the formal living room. The fireplace was updated with a traditional classic wood fireplace surround and stacked stone hearth.
