At our Sharon DR project, the homeowner wanted to update her kitchen into a warm farmhouse style.
In the kitchen, we replaced the cabinets with all new white painted shaker cabinetry, concrete looking quartz countertops, warm beige toned 4 x 12 subway tile with a really fun accent cement tile above the cooktop framed in with a bronze liner, bronze pulls, stainless steel farmhouse sink and a beautiful accent hood. We added interior features like the desired double stacked cutlery tray, a revolving lazy susan, and pull out spice rack beside the cooktop for easy access. Her existing bar area needed to modernize its opening, allowing room for the new cabinets and wood toned floating shelves, and installing the cement tile counter to ceiling as a fun accent wall that really created a statement. One major change that we did was opening up a large supporting wall between the formal dining and living room, creating this nice little opening as a buffet area on her dining room side. This allowed more storage and counter space for entertaining.
The update created a better functioning kitchen, added storage especially in her new buffet area, and gave her her dream farmhouse kitchen!
